SpeakerFernando Guitérrez is the designer and art director famed for his elegant, impactful graphic design of Benetton's Colors magazine, Spanish magazine Matador and national newspaper El País.
Guitérrez’s work on the Spanish daily newspaper El País, entailed designing and art directing a full range of daily sections and the Friday supplement aimed at a young readership. He has also worked as the consultant creative director for the Museo Nacional del Prado in Madrid.
In 1993 Guitérrez co-founded Grafica and worked on a variety of projects including identity, book publishing, communication campaigns and editorial design. In October 2000 he joined Pentagram where he became a partner in the London office, until 2006. In November of 2000 Guitérrez became the creative director of Colors, the global community magazine created for Benetton by Oliver Toscani and the late Tibor Kalman.
