Georgianna Stout is founding partner and creative director at 2x4, leading projects that range from extensive website and identity projects to environmental graphics and way-finding programmes. She is behind the complete branding, identity, retail and environmental programmes for the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the Nasher Sculpture Centre, the Studio Museum in Harlem and Dia:Beacon. She led the retail and packaging projects for the Vitra New York and Los Angeles headquarters and was partner-in-charge of a new product launch for Knoll Textiles. She is also involved in network branding for with Mtv.
Stout has been a visiting design critic at Rhode Island School of Design and Yale University School of Art. She also collaborates with husband and designer David Weeks, in the design firm David Weeks Studio. Prior to founding 2x4, Stout worked at Bethany Johns Design, producing publications and identity programs for arts organisations and other cultural institutions. She holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design.
