

Masashi Kawamura is a creative director and the founder of PARTY, a creative lab based in Tokyo and New York, which believes that "new creations are born from new creative process".
Kawamura was born in Tokyo but raised in San Francisco. Before founding PARTY, he was a creative director at Wieden + Kennedy in New York. Kawamura has worked at a number of agencies around the world, including BBH New York and 180 Amsterdam, with many of his campaigns being widely awarded.
Outside of advertising, Kawamura explores the world of design and interaction, working on music videos, product designs and social apps, among other endeavours.
Kawamura’s work has been recognised by international awards, including NY ADC, Cannes Lions, One Show, D&AD and the Annecy Animation Film Festival. He was recently named as one of Fast Company’s “100 most creative people in business 2012”. And PARTY recently took the title of “Independent Agency of the Year” at the Spikes Asia award.
