Xolisa Sibeko is a 26-year-old graphic designer who uses his talents to do good. Sibeko graduated from the University of Johannesburg after studying communication design. He went on to obtain his honours, becoming the first in his family to do so.
The Gauteng-based graphic designer garnered recognistion with poster he made in 2015, which won the International Geldom project. The poster touched on the effect of culture on sexually transmitted infections and diseases. He produced many more of these cultural stand designs and photographs.
Sibeko has many goals for the future, “I love creating complicated, appropriate designs from scratch.” says Xolisa, who hopes to gain more skills in being able to challenge the system.
